Welcome to the Oklahoma Centennial Year of Unbroken
Prayer!
The Vision is a simple Christ-centered, mission-minded move of prayer on the
part of local churches in the city of Tulsa during 2007. Our goal is to see
churches gather in a spirit of humility each committing one week of 24-7 prayer
in their local church community in order to love our city and state through
prayer. We want to join hands across racial, social and denominational barriers
in prayer that we may see God’s blessing and life released in our city and state
in an unprecedented way. (Psalm 133)
Our Purpose is to remain “in one accord” and “steadfast in prayer” just as the
early church did in Acts 1:14. We are praying that our city and state would
experience real transformation by the spirit of God.
How does this happen?
The Oklahoma Centennial Year of Unbroken Prayer takes place in a 24-7
interactive prayer room at a different church across the city each week.
Participants sign up for one hour prayer slots in order to pray specifically for
the needs of our city and state. A list of all the participating churches may be
found by viewing the calendar page.
24-7 Prayer is an international movement that taking place around the world.
Since 2000, thousands of prayer rooms have sprung up in over 60 nations
interceding day and night. You may find out more about what God is doing in the
earth through 24-7 prayer by visiting

What are we praying for?
Glad you asked. We believe that prayer makes a difference. When prayer
increases in a city and state, the Holy Spirit’s activity increases in ways that
will bless a city. We love our city and state and want to see God’s purposes for
Tulsa and Oklahoma realized.
The following are some of the prayer points that we are praying into the 2007
Centennial:
Prayer Points
First that individuals, congregations and communities would come in a spirit
of repentance and humility seeking to forgive and be forgiven in preparation for
prayer. Then that God would be glorified and revealed to Tulsa and Oklahoma for
who He is:
JEHOVAH ADONAI be lifted up as Lord of Tulsa. We pray for God's purposes
for Tulsa be revealed and fulfilled; false religion be replaced by worship of
the one true God; believers be faithful in prayer, bible study and church
attendance; the lost come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord
JEHOVAH SHALOM be our peace. We pray that violence, crime and religious
factions be replaced by love between races, peace and safety in Tulsa and unity
among believers
JEHOVAH TSIDKENU be our righteousness. We pray that moral purity,
biblical values, faithful love in marriage and family would increase and that
deliverance from addictions and vice would increase.
JEHOVAH EL ROI be our one true Shepherd. We pray for greater care and
concern for the poor, justice in leadership, submission to the law, protection
for our children, protection, guidance and integrity for police, judges, elected
officials and all in authority.
EL SHADDAI be our sufficiency resulting in a healthy economy with
economic growth and prosperity, contentment, selfless giving and freedom from
empty busyness.
May God cause all 52 weeks to be filled in 2007. May this year of unbroken
prayer result in changed lives. May congregations and individuals fan the flame
for prayer that will burn in our hearts resulting in a passionate love for God
and others; God be glorified through the body of Christ in Tulsa through the
24-7 year of unbroken prayer.
THE ISAIAH 62 PRAYER FOR TULSA, OKLAHOMA
PASSIONATELY DECLARE THIS OVER YOUR CITY
1 For Tulsa's sake I will not keep silent, for Tulsa's sake I will not
remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation
like a blazing torch.
2 The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be
called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand
of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. 6 I have
posted watchmen on your walls, O Tulsa; they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Tulsa and makes her the praise of the
earth.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build
up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.
11 The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: "Say to the Daughter
of Tulsa, 'See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his
recompense accompanies him.'"
12 They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will
be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.
